Call open for participation on the Vth Balkan Culture Days
We are proud to announce the Vth Balkan Culture Days from 1st until 4th of September 2022 in Ohrid.
The festival Balkan Culture Days will be organized for the fifth time in Ohrid, Macedonia. The competition will be divided into two separate categories on two evenings: the first evening some of the groups will present themselves with authentic folklore dances and on the second evening, some of the groups will present their choreographed folklore dances.
We have a selected jury of talented professionals in the field of folklore dances from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Greece, who will judge the performances based on several criteria. The winning groups will receive 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize, whereas all the other groups will receive a certificate for participation.
This year we will also have a show part, where different vocal and instrumental groups, will present their music to us, specific from the region they come from. We will also have an authentic group of bagpipes instrumentalist, who will present to us the beauty of this iconic instrument.
